Is There a Hospital Cash Card in Your Wallet?

The other day I received a letter from my credit union telling me that they would pay for two months of the premium if I signed up for a hospital cash card. The advertisement was very compelling. After all, if I could get coverage for my family that would pay up to $400 for each day we were in the hospital if (God forbid) anything went wrong and it would cost me less than $20 a month, why not? Patricia Bays Haroski, the founder, was working for State Farm Insurance Company at the time and chose October 16 because it was the birthday of her loving boss, her father. This a day to give your boss a break by taking the day off and giving her or him some time to get some real work done. ;-)
