... that today is the birthday of Calvin and Hobbes? Bill Watterson's wonderful cartoon strip about the 6-year-old boy Calvin and his tiger sidekick, Hobbes, first appeared in print on November 18, 1985. It was a sad day when Watterson ceased writing the strip for newspapers on December 31, 1995. Celebrate by smiling at the next child you see. :-)
